Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Satgig ("Platform"), operated by Satgig Pty Ltd, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Platform Description

Satgig connects clients with freelancers. All payments are in Bitcoin via Lightning Network. Satgig facilitates escrow but is not party to contracts between users.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18+ or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. One account per person. You are responsible for your account security and wallet addresses.

4. Fees

5% platform fee on completed transactions, deducted from freelancer payouts. No fees to post jobs. All amounts in BTC. Users are responsible for their own tax obligations.

5. Escrow

Client funds are held in escrow until work is approved. For milestones, each is funded individually. If a client fails to respond within 14 days of submission, funds auto-release to freelancer.

6. Disputes

Either party may open a dispute within 30 days. A mediator reviews contract, communications, and work to recommend resolution. Both parties must cooperate in good faith.

7. Prohibited Activities

No illegal activities, money laundering, fraud, circumventing fees, fake accounts, harassment, malware, scraping, IP infringement, fake reviews, or spam.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed, IP transfers to client upon full payment. Freelancers may display work in portfolios unless NDA applies.

9. Limitation of Liability

Platform provided "as is." Total liability limited to fees collected in prior 12 months. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Governing Law

Governed by laws of Australia. Disputes subject to Queensland courts.

1. Introduction

Satgig Pty Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988, GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA where applicable.

2. Data We Collect

Account info (email, username, profile). Payment info (BTC wallet addresses, transaction records). Usage data (pages, device info, IP). Messages between users. We do not collect real names, government IDs, or bank details.

3. How We Use Data

To operate the Platform, process transactions, facilitate communication, send notifications, prevent fraud, and comply with law. We never sell your data.

4. Data Sharing

With other users (public profile). Service providers under contract. Law enforcement when legally required. Wallet addresses never shared publicly.

5. Retention

Profile data deleted within 30 days of request. Transaction records kept 7 years. Chat logs kept 2 years post-closure.

6. Your Rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restrict processing, data portability, withdraw consent. Contact . Response within 30 days.
